Shakeology Weight Loss for many is a debatable subject as they do not know whether they can add additional ingredients, or if they should have a shake once or twice a day. In this article I will share several tips and suggestions to help you better understand how to use Shakeology the correct way.

The first thing you have to know is that 1 serving, if made as directed, is equal to 140 calories. Of course, if you make it this way you are simply using water and 1 level scoop of the product.

While making your shake exactly as directed is ideal in your weight loss goals it is also important to know that it just plain won’t taste as good as it would if you added additional ingredients.

This article is not about recipes but I feel it is helpful for you to understand how you can add extra flavor but still retain your health goals. You want this journey to be enjoyable and not a chore so here are some tips that will help make a more flavorful but still healthy shake.

Often times I will personally include 1 tablespoon of natural peanut butter (avoiding brands with hydrogenated oils and additional sugars), 1/2 cup 1% or skim milk, and also 1/2 of a ripe banana.

I want to make sure you have a realistic look at your weight loss approach and while you are including Shakeology as a way to assist you, it’s just as important to be real and understand that you will most likely add some more ingredients which will add additional calories and fats.

It is absolutely OK to add ingredients for flavor so that you actually look forward to your meal replacement rather than thinking it’s something you have to choke down. Just be reasonable, adding Oreo cookies or M&M cookies will defeat the purpose.

The next debate is whether you should consume a shake once or twice a day. While you can have it twice a day nothing is equal to all natural, raw to lightly cooked vegetables, and lean meats. But, if you are on the go or need something quick then Shakeology twice a day is just fine.

Every chance you get you should make sure to eat full balanced meals. Not only will you get all the balanced nutrition your body needs but you will also get the right balance of calories your body needs to sustain healthy weight loss.

Weight loss should not be done in a “diet” fashion but in a balanced life-time approach. If incorporating Shakeology in your health goals remember to also eat 3-5 balanced meals with lightly cooked to raw vegetables (example: carrots, Broccoli, and green peppers) and lean meats (example: 3oz chicken breast, 3oz of fish or a half can of tuna in water, 3oz of lean pork) each and every day!

I personally use a meal replacement typically once a day between my 3-5 meals or as a snack. It’s very important to keep a steady flow of good nutrition and calories going into your body throughout the day to balance your blood sugars. Losing weight has always been one of the American obsession this decade, why is that? One reason is because, as people, we tend to do what is comfortable and what feels good. Let’s face it, the best foods or “the ones we like” are always the ones that are bad for us, or if not bad, fattening. We need some thing simple, like fat loss for idiots, something that’s easy and just stay away from the bad stuff. I mean that’s not news, is it. Every body knows that the best foods we like are the worst foods for our tummy. How about working out or exercise, who wants to do that. Wouldn’t it be great if you could just come home after work, eat a big fat juicy stake, eat half a pie, and drink 3 beers and still stay slim? I know what you’re saying, if you want to lose weight, you can’t be lazy, why not? I mean, I have seen plenty of people who don’t do any exercise, eat what ever, and never gain weight. You know people like this,I’m sure. They always have something in their mouth, but they never gain weight. You think to your self: you skinny son of a b___h. Then you go home eat a salad and gain 3 pounds, why? Your doing every thing right, “most of the time anyway” why can’t I do what he’s doing? Then you think to your self: why me. Lets go back a little and think about why that is. Take that skinny guy, he eats what ever he wants, or does he? How often does he eat. You see this person eating all the time always at the snack machine. You think to your self, he’s going to get fat, eating like that, I know it, I can’t wait. But if that’s what you think, your missing the most important part of this formula. Again, fat loss for idiots. Hears what I mean.

Those were the days

Remember when you were young, when you were skinny and your mom keep trying go give you more food at dinner, remember that. What was so different then? Think about it, think about what you did all day long, and think about how often you ate. I have an 10 year old son, and he is slim, his is not skinny but he is slim. During a course of a day, he may eat something every couple of hours. It does not matter what it is, he just has to have something in his mouth. The thing is, he does not eat much of any one thing, in fact, at dinner he eats very little. I use to try to make him eat all of his dinner, but I realized something, he just ate about 2 or 3 hours ago, he may not be hungry at all. Take today, I did not have time to cook, so after he did his home work, I ask if he want to go get some tacos? So we got 12, 4 for me, 4 for his sister and 4 for him. He ate two and was full. His name is Kenny jr by the way.

When I found out about fat loss for idiots, it keeps it simple, it made me think about me and my son, it made me look at things a little different. Take my son, he eats what he wants and he does not do much running around, only during basket ball season, but when that’s over, he plays on the computer allot. He does not go out very often, he does ride his bike every now and then but not much. What hit me about him was that fact that, even though he does not do much in the summer, he eats just small things during the day,he tends not to ever be very hungry or gain any weight. Let me put that another way, he does gain weight, because he is a growing kid, but his body shape never changes at all. One more note, I hope this is not too much information, but he uses the bath room every day, and sometimes 3 times or more a day. See, when your younger, your metabolism was high, very high. People know this but don’t really know what it means, because if you knew what it meant, you could never get fat. I just did a little research and I found out some things I already knew but did not know what it really meant.

Metabolism: is the rate at which your body uses energy, or, burns calories. Your resting metabolism measures the number of calories required to keep your body functioning. Your metabolism burns calories all the time, whether you’re just sitting on the couch or you’re jogging around the block. Even while we sleep our metabolism is working. Your body is using up energy to keep running — to make your heart beat, your kidneys function, and so on. Keep that in mind, because you can change the rate it burn calories.

There are two basic ways to lose weight, do you know what they are? I know you may be thinking a low calorie diet and working out. Lets take the work out part out for now, the first part is correct. The exercise part is more for health, but it does speed up your metabolism. But the more you work out the more you want to eat. Balancing that out is very important. The second way is to eat more. That’s what I said, eat more. Just like KJ, my son, he eats some much, that his body is always pushing it out, if you know what I saying. The food does not have time to store fat, it’s on the move. Plus, my son loves fruit. That’s a key point, fruit rich in fiber are great, like plums, grapes, pears and melons are all very good. Eating more tricks your body metabolism and makes you body burn fat like crazy. Did you know there are foods that you may think are healthy that are making you fat?

I could go on about this for ever, fat loss for idiots is not just a phrase, it’s a diet plan that makes losing weight easy. Looking for the quickest way to burn fat and lose weight? Read on to see what I did to drop 52 pounds in 2 months… consistently, easily, and permanently!

Okay my friend, first things first. Let’s talk about what I highly recommend you avoid:

A.) Stay Away From Fad Diets – The first thing I recommend you avoid are those common fad diets you see everywhere. A fad diet typically will be those prepackaged meal plans, low-calorie, low-carb, low-fat, etc. types of plans that you see advertised every time you turn your computer on! I had to learn the hard way that a fad diet is only going to send your metabolism into a tail-spin and cause it to reduce quite significantly. The slower your metabolism… the more your body will retain body fat instead of burning it off and the more you’ll end up with yo-yo weight loss!

B.) Ineffective Exercising – Another thing that caused problems for me in the beginning was ineffective exercising. I kept spending FOREVER on the treadmill, avoided doing enough resistance training, and I was walking out the gym without a drop a sweat! My friend, long boring cardio, avoiding building muscle tissue, and not doing something intense enough to produce sweat is just not going to cut it. I recommend high intensity interval cardio (such as sprinting), and I recommend that you focus heavily on building lean muscle tissue. The more muscle you have, the more your body burns fat… on autopilot!

Alright, now besides those two important tips above, there was one more added ingredient that certainly proved to be the quickest way to burn fat and lose weight.

This method is based on confusing your metabolism by constantly changing around your eating pattern with none other than PROPER nutrition (which means all types of nutrients including good carbs and good fats, and without restricting calories too much). This type of dieting (known as shifting calories) enabled me to drop an incredible 52 pounds of fat in just 2 months time… easily and permanently.

Listen, all fad diets care about is making profits. They do not care if you continue to keep purchasing their latest “diet miracle” and then you never receive results… and this is because they know that this will KEEP YOU BUYING MORE of their foolishness! My friend, you don’t have to deal with that nonsense ever again. Simply follow the tips I have laid out for you in this article and I can assure you that you WILL get that hot, lean, and sexy body you have been wanting… easily, quickly, and PERMANENTLY!
