Successful Weight Loss For the Rest of Us

Judging by the myriads of commercials and ads we are bombarded with, it appears that all those weight loss product companies all want to help us lose weight. In reality, they have no interest in helping you lose weight; they want you to buy their product.

You see they are in it to make money from you. You see, they know that the odds of someone losing weight and keeping it off are in their favor. Like me, you may lose a few pounds, but then gain them all back as soon as that bottle of pills is gone.

The super models and professional athletes that appear in these ads and commercials get paid to say that the XYZ plan worked for them, and it may very well have. But, it won’t work for us, because we are not them. What works for one more than likely won’t work for all.

What the weight loss companies won’t tell you

When was the last time you saw a weight loss spokesperson a few years after the diet? You will not ever see that, because the result is not permanent. Successful weight loss is more about timing than calories.

Eating correctly is more about the time of day that you eat rather than the pills you take and the actual food you consume. The thing that we all should realize is that the burning of calories takes place during the time that we are awake.

Bear with me for just a second, I love cheeseburgers and can tell you who has the best cheeseburger and where. Eating them late at night before I went to bed was what was adding to my waistline. A simple change of eating them for lunch cause my waist to slim and still allowed me to eat cheeseburgers.

So a simple change in the time of day that you eat will cause your body to burn those calories instead of store them somewhere on you. I like you, could not believe such a simple change could grant such good results, you will have to try it for your own self to see that it works.

Make lunch your “heavy” meal

Eating before bedtime is a sure way to gain weight, and if you are skinny and need to gain weight that is a great way to add on the pounds fast. For those of us who do not need any more extra pounds, we just need to make our big meal of the day our lunch.

If you are trying to eat correctly, just change the time of day that you eat stuff. Always eat a breakfast, it kick-starts your metabolism into burning calories all day. Make your lunch the big or fattening meal of the day, eat a lighter supper, and eat your supper at least 3 or 4 hours before bedtime.

It is so simple a cave person could do it

Sorry I had to butcher the saying, just in case it is copywrited by that insurance company. However, you get the picture, that to lose weight easily without all the strange and new ways, we only need to switch our time.

Just like the commercials that say “results not typical”, we all realize that lunchtime for me may be earlier or later than lunchtime for you. Have fun and experiment as to what is the best time for you to get your favorite food and still lose weight.
